MULTIPLE LAYER FOR OPTIMAL PROTECTION
Viruses and bacteria travel through infectious water droplets. PROXMASK™ water repellency feature enables effective shielding effect from these infectious water droplets. The outer layer is finished with antiviral, anti-microbial and water repellent coating to resist pathogen penetration. PROX™ Antiviral Technology inactivates viruses and bacteria upon contact. The presence of this technology eliminates the risk of disease spread upon improper handling and during disposal.
Microfiltration is the key for the efficient filtration capability. The innovative self-developed, dense network of microfiber structure captures viruses and bacteria down to a microscopic scale, 1000 times smaller than a millimeter. The filters are also furnished with PROX™ Antiviral Technology that destroy viruses and bacteria. The washable and reusable sub-micron filter provides optimum protection. This self-developed innovative filters stay effective up to 60 hand washes.
The inner layer fabric is also treated with PROX™ Antiviral Technology to provide protection against coronavirus. The skin friendly fabric with quick dry features keep the skin dry and comfortable during use.
BACTERIAL FILTRATION EFFICIENCY (BFE)
Bacterial Filtration Efficiency or BFE is a measurement of a respirator material's resistance to penetration of bacteria. Results are reported as percent efficiency and correlate with the ability of the fabric to resist bacterial penetration. Higher numbers in this test indicate better barrier efficiency.
PARTICLE FILTRATION EFFICIENCY (PFE)
PFE measures the filtration efficiency of a mask using nonviable (nonliving) particles that are fixed in size from 0.1 micron to 1 micron. A face mask relies on microfiber filter media technology to capture the submicroscopic particles generated by high-speed handpieces, ultrasonic scalers, and lasers commonly in use.
